Minutes of the Regular Meetirlg <br />Ma.rch 19, 1956 <br />The Council of the Vi1la,ge of Mayfield met a.n open meeting at the <br />Town Ha1.l at 8:00 P. Ni.' Mayox? End.ress presiding. <br />Roll Ca7el: Present -Messrs Swanson, Strater., Taylor, Browm, Fa]ek <br />and Hopld.nso _ <br />Absent - None. <br />'Phe Minutes of the regular meeting of Febru.ary 20th, 1956, were then <br />read to the Council,. It was moved by Mr. Straterr seconded b3r Mr. Fa1k., that <br />the minutes be approved and passed as read. _ <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Strater.,Taylor,Brown' Falk & Hopki.ns. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion carried <br />Niiutes approved. <br />Mayor Endress then observed that from the min.utes, several pieces of <br />busiriess were not complete. Mr. Edelman reported that Mr. Pau7: B. Roesch <br />of Gates Iii11s was the Justiee of Peace for this area, <br />- Mrs. Brown, sec orrded by Mr. strater, tYien introduced Ord.inance #536 <br />entitled: ttAn Emergency Ordinance Determining to Proceed with the Improvement <br />of Glenview_RQad in the Village of Ntayfield' Ohio, fz°om SOM Center Road in <br />an Eastes°ly direction to__the Westerl,y 1?ne of Beech Hi11 Road by .the Con- <br />struction of a Tnfater Y°1ain"' wlu.ch ordinanee was read. to Council. Tt was , <br />moved by Mre Strater,...seconded by Xr. Taylor, that fi,he rules of law requiring <br />. an ordinance to Ue read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Ro1,1 Ca1Z: Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Strater9Taylor9Brown,Falk & Hopkins. <br />Nays - None. _ <br />Mot3:on carried <br />ftules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor, zeconded ly Mr. Strater9 that Ordinance <br />No. 536 be.approved ancY passed as read. ° Ro11 Cal.l: Ayes - 1`Zessrs Swanson,Strater,Taylor'BrownqFalk & Hopkins. <br />Idays - None o <br />Nlotion carried <br />Ordinance passed <br />Mr. -11"delanan then Urought forth the Dog ardi.n.ance he was asked to <br />prepare and read it -to CoUncil. This ordinance is pa-tterned after the Ordinance <br />in force in C1.eve7.and Heights. Mr. Strater as-ked that, if, after the passage <br />of this ordinanee, a D,og tiJarden irere _ hired, would this ordinance apply? Mr. <br />Ede].man said that, if _tne_-6Ja,rden were deputized by the Police, it would apply. <br />l.
