' 1 <br />Mayor Endress then asked tha.t a note be ma.de to check with Mr. Reed, <br />as there were several things not mentioned at the last meeting that needed <br />the board's attention. <br />Nr. Falk then pointed out that our Ordinance on SOM Requires a 90 <br />foot set back and said tha.t, if any pezyai.ssion to do other than follow the <br />orclinance is given, it should be in writin.g, Cmuneil -chen discussed the fact <br />that the wtii.te 7ane of SOM Road did not follow the ce-ntex° line of the road9 and <br />entered i2zto considerable cliscussion on the subject of our ardinance as to what <br />authority the builcting inspector had to put a house in any place otlier than a <br />90 foot set-back line. , <br />Yjayor Endx°ess then discussed with Council the fact that we pay our <br />Court Clerk by the case and due to the distut°bance in the Village, the Cowr•t <br />C1erk had been taking statements and doijzg a great deal of_ office work keepin, <br />things in shape.. T'Iayor Endress sug-ested tha.t the Court Clerlc be given additional <br />pay for this particul.ar case and suggested 105-00 for special services. It was <br />then moved by 14r. Taylor., seconded by Mr. Falk, that the Clerk be i.nstructed <br />to pay the Court Clerk $35.00 for special s.erva.ces in connection with the recent <br />homi.cide case. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Taylor,Wedler.,Strater,Brown,Falls & Hoplr.i.nse <br />IZays - None. <br />Motion earried <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from Mr. George Worts, thanking <br />the Village and Couzzcil for their exprassion of appreciation for his services <br />in the past as School Cru,ard. <br />Mr.. Edelman then notified Council that water main construetion on <br />Hi?ila?.d Roa.d, SOM Road, and Glenview Road were comp]ete and ready for <br />assessments; and that a rasolution was now in order to advertise a notice of <br />assessment. , <br />Mr. Hopkins, seconded by Mr• Fa1k; then introduced Resolution No. <br />351 entitled: "A Resolution authorizing and directing tne advertisement of <br />Notice of the Est3rna.i;ed Assessment of the Cost of Improving High.land Road from <br />the Westerly Boundary of the Villa.ge of Nay?ield Easterly to_ the Eas-terly side <br />of SOM Center Road by the Construction of a Water lAain.", which Resolution was <br />read to Council, , <br />It ;aa.s moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mro Falk, that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendec3. <br />Ro71 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs TayIor?,Wedler,Strater'Brown,?',alk & Hopkinso <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion cari^ied <br />, Ru1es Suspended _ <br />-i <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor3 seconded by Mr. Falk' that Nesolution <br />No• 351 be approved.and adopted as reade _ <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes -Yessrs Taylor9?Jedler'Stxater?Brown9Falk & Hopkins. <br />?Jays ?
