Mr. Ede]man said tha.t he <br />had written- the county and had no- answer and wvuld nmr have to see some one in <br />the Cotmty Engineert s office. <br />Mr. De More was then asked if the rock- had beeri removed from the 50M <br />Center eulvert. Mr. De More reported that he eould find no rock and.the culvert <br />seemed to be free. He'then suggested that the Culvert at Leonardits was <br />inadequate and could°_be causing some-of this trouble. _ -- <br />. As this affaix had come up time and time again, with;no adequate <br />explanation of ar?y pa.rt of it, Mayor Endress asked tha.t Mr. DeMore giqe the <br />C1erk a written report on the subject.from an Engineering staridpoint. <br />Mr. Strater said that he thought our Sertrice Director needed some <br />equipment, so_tha.t he could do some digg3ng and clearing out,of these ditches. <br />Mayor Endress said the Cammittee should look up some apparatus and appraximate <br />cost of saxne: Mayor.Enolress then reported to Council that he had a call from a Iadp <br />on Ridgebury Boulevard who had a flooded basement from the sewer, which i-Tas <br />noVr worse since the. hole had been covered and sai°d that he told her nothin.g <br />but a$25?000 sewer would cwre the difficulty, and said that we shou3.d have <br />a report from our Engineer if this was the only solution. <br />kla,yor Endress then asked for reports from the various commi.ttees. <br />Mra Fiopkins, reporting for the Buil.ding Committeep said that he had a <br />bill for repair of our Town Ha11: Storm Windows and that iie had a request'fram <br />Mr. -Wie].azzd ta purchase a sign for use in front of the To= Hall. It seems <br />that.peap7ee were havin,g difficulty in locating the Town Ha,ll., as it was unmarked <br />and the sign in question wotil.d be luminous with the name. on both sides, which <br />c ould be seen from e ither d3rection on WiLs on Mi11s. 1Kr.
