Their first discussion was the substitutin.g of concrete <br />for black-top, but this was tabled until a cross-sectional dxawing of our <br />present road requirernents was on_hand, <br />' Mr. Wm. Capretta and Joseph'Gabriel presented`a combined plan for <br />developing the area in the Thornapple - Ravine Drive section, but as there <br />was a question of water and.a proposal to 3nsta7l a sewage pumping station, <br />the proposal was tabled until -oresented again. . <br />Mre Van Curen, together with other developers, then presented a <br />proposal to the commi.ttee for development of the Qan Curen Area, which was <br />approved by the committee, with the exception of lots. nunbered, 5 and 14, and. <br />will be presented to Council when a revised plan is submitted. <br />Mr. Fa.lk then said the comma.ttee did not get around to considering <br />minimum let sizes. <br />Ravine Drive was then brought before Council and an i.nspection report <br />made by I`=r. Wieland and Mr. Portere <br />Mr. Wieland reported that he c ould not turn around in the tuinax ound, <br />and the area was very rough. Fire Chief Tlelson Porter also reported that no <br />turns ceuld be ma.de in the turna.round. Mr. Robley spoke on this m.at ter and <br />said that it should be r olled9 but his roller was broken. <br />Ms°. Piccard, i,rho had troub].e in getting i.nto t1115 axea, said tha.t it <br />was all right for the slag trucks which were tandem eight wheel drives, but <br />still not much use to an ordinary car. <br />?.
