Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Tay].or,Wedler,strater'Brown,Falk and Hopkins. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carxied <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Strater, seconded by Mr. Wedlex, tha.t Resolution <br />Noe 381 be approved anc3 passed as read. <br />Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Taylor,Wedler9Strater,Brown,Falk & Hopltinso <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution passed <br />Mr. Reed, Chairman of the Zoning and Plann?ng Commi.ssian, then reported <br />on their meeting held April 22nd, 1957. Mr. Reed said that they had ha,ndled <br />two matters at this roeting' the first being a request from Gabriel Construction <br />Co, for an exemption from ottr paving orda.nance. The Commi.ttee had goted three <br />for and none against, with one abstaining. lqr. Reed said that the Committee <br />voted to give relief also to De Franco due to the fact that both.had been <br />presented many inonths prior to our concrete ord.inance. Both constructoxs had <br />agreed to have the road two feet wider' making a 20 foot width and a 22 foat <br />sub base and woul.d use plant mixed asphalt, <br />Mro Reed said that they had considered'the final proposal of De Franco's <br />development and noted ].o-ts No. 10-11-12-27-40-41 az d?.t.2 were less than 100 - <br />feet but 100 £eet at the bui.7.ding ].3x?e. A17.' sewage was. to be handled by the <br />pumping station of Gabriel Construction. N'?r. Reed said then that the committee <br />recommended tha,t council give relief to these developments from the facts <br />presented' as a hardship case as it V,ras necessaty to have narrower lots at the <br />street line to provide turnabouts. <br />Mr. Falk, seconded by Nrs. Brown, tizen introduced Resoltt3.on No. 382 <br />entitled: "A Resolutiori to Approve the Pre].iicLisiary Plan of Proposed Elseaia <br />Acres A1lotment of De Franco Bui.lders"', wlxieh resolution wa.s read to Councile <br />It was moved by Mr. -Hoplcins., seconded.by Mrs. Brawn, tha,t the rules of ].aw <br />requir3xig a resolutian to be read on three sepaz°ate oceasions be suspended. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Ta,ylor.,j%Tedler'Strater.,Brown.,Falk and Hopkins. <br />Nays - Nbne.
