Mayor IlZdress said that Council ha.d another recoarunendation - that the <br />developers be permitted to install plant mix instead of concrete. <br />Nro Falk then said that he would ].3ke to zra,ke it clear that we had <br />adopted the road ord3nance, not for the sut°face alone' but for the width and the <br />elimination of ditches9 and said he thought their present plans would be a <br />detriment to the developmant and would like to explore the possib3lities of- <br />curbs and the eLinination of ditches. <br />Mr. Mann' their attorney, then said that it was a mtter vf cost and <br />thought it would mean $8.00 more a lineal foot and curbs in the country were <br />not an advantage. <br />Mr. Fa]lc said that the developers wou7.d sti]1 be far ahead to consider <br />old pavement with sone sort of curb? ard thought that Council shottld not <br />compromise on width of road and ditches. Roa.ds Under Certain Coraditions Isl <br />Proposed _ Ga.briel Subdivisa.on of Kenwoocl Gardens No. 2 as a Hardship Case"' which <br />resolution Vras reacl to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Tayl,or, seconded`by Mr. StraterD that the rules of <br />lawrequiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be svspendedo <br />Ro11 Ca,a.ls Ayes - Messrs Taylor'Wedler'Strater,Brown,Falls and Hopkins* <br />r7ays - None. <br />Notion caY°riecl <br />Ru1.es Suspended <br />" It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Strater, that Resolution No. <br />383 be approved and passed as read.
