Taylor, that Resol,ution No. <br />384 be wpproved a,nd passed as read.e <br />Roll Ca11s Ayes - 14essrs Taylor,Wedler9Strater,Bs°c-um,Falk and Hopkins. <br />Nays - Noneo - <br />Motion cax°ried <br />Resolution passed <br />Mr. Mann then requested that the records show that Restx°ictions and <br />proteetive covenants for Kenwood Gardens Subdivision No. 2 ha.d been presented <br />to Council. <br />A large delegataon £rom Wilson Mi]>.s then took up w5.th Council the <br />ma.tter of cutting i.nto the Hilltop sewer. Most of these people were al.a.rmed <br />by.the 30 day notice and penalties tha.t might be dwe, as they argued that this <br />was much too short notice, with the cost of cuttin? in so hioh and the weather <br />against any inmediate start by the cantractors• <br />Mre stratex° said, that he ha.d talked with Mr. AvBry who saLd that it <br />was a State La.w, that af'ter sewers were constructea, everyone must connect to <br />them within 30 days9 but in case of hardships could go as l.ong as 90 days• <br />l??ayor Endress tiaondered if a letter should not go to the County to get it <br />spe7led out just what we would have to do. '- Mr. Leech then Ux°ought up the fact that a sewer from Aintree Park was <br />emptying into his front yard and, as he could not get relief from the County9 <br />how, he wondered, coul.d they compel him to cut into the sewex°? <br />Mr. Edelman was then requested to,write a letter to the County Board <br />of Heal.th, asking if there was not some ti,ray,that people c ould ha.ve either <br />more time or put this cost on theix° taxes in hardship casesm <br />4L-. Reed thought that some one should d3.g into the znatter and advise <br />l'Tr. Wieland, because what Mr. Wa.eland suggested was not what a great znany <br />people were doitnge <br />Mayor Endress then s°ead a letter to Council frorn Mr. Porter regarding <br />the improvement of Wilson Mi11s Road by the construc•tion of a four ].ane divided <br />road. Mr. Portex reported that they woulcl be able to secure 501o of the cost <br />of this road a:n Fecleral Funds o Mr, Wiore then presentAd a profile on SOM sidewalks and said that he <br />would like a cast-in-place curb to sidewa7ls and s1a.g to the road with parallel <br />parking. <br />' S.
