Mr. <br />Fdelman made the changes requested and read the ordinancs to Cozanczl. <br />Mr. Stxa,ter, sec osaded by Mrs. Brown, then irrtroduced ard3nanee N.o. 582, <br />entitled: "An Ordinance to Regul.a-te the Cperation of Public Vehicles for Hire <br />in the Village of I`7ayfield", which ord:;nance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of la.w <br />requising an orelinance to b e read on three separate occas? ons, be suspended. <br />Ro11. Motion.carried <br />Ordinance passed <br />Mr. Edelmn -was then asked about the Septic Tank Ordinance j-Thich he was <br />asked to think about and read our° present ordinance covering -this subjects to <br />qouncil. Yire Edelman went on tv saST that he thought this gave us a.71 the <br />control necessaxy and the only other way wczld be to e1-u'ninate all exceptions <br />in the. ordinance concerning water mains and sewage. Mr, EdeJman.thought that <br />our present ord3nance was better than this method. _ I`'Ir. Fa1k thought that under <br />our present ordinance Covnoil might be driven i.n.to someth3.ng Uy pressttre, but <br />N1r. EdeJman said we wou].d ha.ve complete control and anyone Urould have a hard <br />time 3n passsing all our terms. <br />-- lo
