<br />_ 1^he Council of the Vi]lage of 1`'layfield met in regular rreeting at the
<br />Vi7..lage Ha.l1 on Monday9 July 22nd, 1957, at 8:00 Pe M•,M.*,W Endress presiding'
<br />pursuant to notice given according to law to all Councilmen of the postponement
<br />of the date of the meeting from July 15th to.July 22nd, 1957.
<br />Ro11. Ca11: Present - Messrso Taylor, Wedler, Str.ater, Brown,
<br />Fa1k and Hopkins.
<br />, Absent - None.
<br />The Minutes of the Fiegular Meeting of June 17-th, 1957 were then read
<br />to Councile It was moved by Ilir. Falk, seconded by 14rs. Broz,ni, that the minutes
<br />of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read.
<br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Taylor, Wedler, Strater, Brown, Falk and
<br />Hopkins. .
<br />Nays - None. .

<br />Mr. Edelman then reported that, inasmuch as we had Filed a resolution
<br />wri_th the auditor stating the necessity of -siiomittin? a bond issue to the voters,
<br />and a certificate had been received from the auditor giving the rate as 1.1221 eents
<br />per $1.00 valuation or 11e221 cents per $140.00 va].ua.tion, in accordance with the
<br />certificate received it was now necessary:to pass a resolution determining to
<br />proceed. .
<br />. Mre Hopkins, seconded by Mrs. Broti,m, then introduced Resolution No. 389
<br />entitle,d, "A Resolution Determining to Proceed with the Submission to the Electors
<br />of t he Village of Mayfield, Ohio, at the November 5, 1957 General Eleci;ion, the
<br />Question cf Tssuino Bonds for the,purpose of payin.g property owner•s assessment
<br />portions, and, if required, to pay the Vi11age portions of the cost of improving
<br />the streets in the Village of 1'layzield by paving, grading, curbing, dxaining,
<br />ditching, and the construction of storm sewers, sanita?n,,r setqers, water mains,
<br />and appur-tenances therein," which resolution was read to Coun.cila

<br />of law requirino a resolution to be read on, three separate occasions be suspended.-
