Minutes of Regvlar Meeting <br />August 193 1957 <br />The Council of the Village of May.tield met in regular meeting at <br />the Toti,m Hall on Monday., August 19th' 1957' at 8e00 P. Mo9 Mayor Endress <br />presiding. <br />RoZI Call: Present -Yiessrs Wedler, Brown, Falk and Hopkiris. <br />Absent - Messrs Taylor and Strater. ' <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Ju1y 22nd, 1957, 'were then <br />read.,to Council.. It was moved by Nrs. Brown, second.ed by Mr. Wedler, that the <br />1linutes of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler., Brovm' Falk & Hopkinso <br />Nays - None o <br />° Tlotion carried <br />. rlinutes approved <br />Resolution No. 392 taas then taken up ard discussed. This Resolution' <br />granting a special parmi.t to Rev. Cecil Simmons to use certain premises,on SOM <br />Center Road as a church, was placed on its second readirig. Mayor Endress then asked abou-t liability insurance on Police and <br />Fire Equipment and was assured by the Clerk that -the -t,wo police cars, the two <br />Bean t rucks and -the Fie1d truck were covered.. ., <br />r4ayor Endress then asked Mr. De More if he had checked on sidevralk <br />easements on S.O.M. and Mr. De More said that he had the Land Title check it <br />and found easements for all b ut the corner property. Mayor Endress then asked <br />our 5olicitor to see Mr. Bordonaro about an easement on the corner propertys <br />Mayor Endress th.en reported that Council had met to go over.the <br />budget ard had made certain changes. The C1erk then presented the budget, <br />s'heets for inspection and. Nr. Wedler, seconc3.ed by IvIre Hopkins, then introduced <br />a resolution that Council approve the 1958 budget as presented. It was moved <br />by Mr. Wedler9 seconded by NIrs o Brown, that this resol.ution be approved and <br />passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Nessrs taedler, Brown, Falk and Hopkins. <br />11y5 0 NOI7@ e , . <br />Motion carr°ied <br />Resolution passeda <br />, Nayor Endress t.hen advised Council that tUie Kiwani.s Club had secured <br />the use of a room in the Methodist Church and would not now need to consider <br />the Season property for school purposes. <br />1.
