IvIrs. Ba.rd.au s tated that Highland <br />Heights was also donating their share of the expenses. <br />Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mro Fa].k, then°introduced a resolution that <br />,??.1140.00 be appropriated and.. that the Clerk be au-h,horized to issue a warrant <br />for this amount towards the expenses of the recreation.al corw-ittee. <br />It was moved by I4r. As there was some question as to <br />whether the Village could legally pay for thesE shots and the fact-that <br />Dr. Wang living in our Village was supposed to have given shots to the <br />Police and Fire Depar-tment without charge9 Yirs. Brown wras asked to check <br />with Dr. Wang and see if his prices were lower.° <br />Mre Strater, reportiing for the Safe-ty and Service Committee'-referred <br />Council to our Traffic Ordinance No. 309, Sec. 93, which referred to <br />mufflers and t7hi.ch the Safety° Committee had found weak. 14r. Strater than read <br />two amendmen-ts contained in the Safety Comni.ttee Minutes which the Committee <br />thought should go iii this- section. Ilir. Edelman said that the part describing a <br />muffler properly belonged in Section 939 but the anti-noise clause should <br />be in a noise ordinance, which would then cover any lsin.d of noise and not <br />confine noise to engines. <br />2.
