Ordi.nance No. 623 entitled: "An Orc3.inance Ficing Daylight S avings Time in the Village of Mayfie3d from 2 o'clock A. M. on the last Sunday of Apx°i1., until 2 o°cloclt A. M. of the last Sunday of October in each year, and repealing Ordinance Noo 287'r" which ordinance was read to Council. This ordinance was . then placed on its f9ss t reading. Mrv Ede7lnan repor•ted that the appeal of Stofcho and Garbas woix].d be heard in the Court.of Appeals next 2'uesday. - Mre Wedler, reporting for the 2on:ing and Planning Corrunission, said that the Connnission felt,it advisable to g et some one out from the Regiona3 P7.anning Comrnission and had a ten-tative meeting for June to discuss possibl.e future business deve7.opments i.n the Village. -Mr. Wedler said we ough-t to get some idea 'of the sort of planning that would fit in a village of our size and also some idea of what some of the other communities are doing.- - Mr. Wedler report,ed that the Zoriing and Planning Coirmiission had accepted the px°oposed subdivision of five lots in the property of Charles A, Fitzgerald9 Jr., four 7.ots fronting on BeechYii7.l Road with a frontage of 100 feet each an3 the fifth°lot 3.y1.ng east of -these lots., with dimensions of 200 feet by 436 feet, tirith a stipulation that ten feet along Beechhill Road be deeded t,o the Village for the purpose °of widening Beechhill Road from 40 fee-t to 50 f eet. This action t,ras in compliance with section 11 of Ordinance Noe 468, - - Mayox° Endress t,hen said that he had had a meeicing with Mr. Frantz of NIayfield Heights and Mr. _Sheehan of Highland Heigh-ts on the Ridgebury situation. The Mayfie].d Heights Council had looked down on the Courbty Engineers' proposal to scarify the road and put in concrete. Mr. EdeTman said that Highl.and Height,s had just passad an ordinance prohi.bit,ing any corn2ections for a period of five years and then proceeded to notify all property owners of this fact.
