Motion carried <br />Ordinar_ce Passecl <br />Mr, Strater then said that he would like to have an amendment made <br />to our Ordinance No. 340 and went onrto discuss the problem of was te materiala <br />Mr. Strater reported that9 with the closang of the Cleveland Dump, collec-tors <br />were unable to dispose of it and large amounts of it were appearing in coZlections <br />of small rmunicipalities;., that our collectiQn this month consis•ted of 15 loads, <br />as compared to ttiao or thin normal times. T?Ir. Strater said that he was <br />greatly alarmed at this co?ition, as it would endanger our contract anci would <br />soon deplete our budget for this worko Mx. Strater also r eported that we <br />- had been receiving consisyi,en.t complaints on t,he nuisance created by the burzing <br />of waste mater3al arid' in- checking with.other municipalities, found that <br />they had an ordina.-Lice governing this. -This amendment statied that ariy o-vimer <br />or-occupant of a dwelling or business possessing Trsaste material created other <br />than by his owmm personal use of materials must dispose of it in a manner <br />approved by the building inspectore <br />- Mr, Pe-terson said that there was a meeting scheduled by several <br />mtinicipalities to organize so that the3r rubba.sh would be picked up on a home <br />basis. Mr. Zorn, who is a member of this <br />RaF-? ? Association' and Nrs.*Broti,mm9 said that they thought this request <br />most reasonable,.
