Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />biotion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that P.esolution No. <br />628 be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Re'solution Passed <br />Mayor Endress then asked f or reports from the Committees. Mr. Sloan, <br />reporting for the Architectural Board of Review, said that they had met in <br />January and approved one residence at 6141 Highland Road. Mr. Bennett, reporting f or the Building Committee, said that they were <br />moving right along with the Service Garage; that they had the'specifications <br />going and as soon as they were complete the job would be put up for bids. Mr. <br />Peterson,said that they had all the plans and that they would be out this week; <br />that they should be ready to advertise Thursday. Mr. Wieland said that he was <br />satilsf ied.with this set-up as shown to him by Mr, Bennett, <br />, Mr, Sloan, seconded by Mr. Bennett, then introduced a I2esolution to <br />advertise f or bids f or a Service Garage according to plans and specifications <br />on file with our Engineer, which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Nir.. Walker, that the rules of <br />law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Niessrs Shaw, Bennett, lJalker., Mason, Sloan & Belzer; <br />Nays - Noneo <br />blotion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the Resolution <br />be approved and passed as read, as an emergency measure. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan C BeTzer. • <br />Nays - None. ' <br />Motion carried <br />Resoluti.on Passed <br />P4r. Edelman then said that legislation should be passed to s,ell bonds <br />for the cost of this project, Mre Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, then intro- <br />duced Resolution No. 629, entitleds "A Resolution Requesting the Clerk to <br />Certify to Council the Estimated Life of the Property and Improvements for <br />Which Voted Sonds are to be Issued in the sum of $25,000.00 and the <br />A4aximum Maturity of said Bonds f or the Purpose of Paying the Cost of <br />2.
