<br />entitled: "An Ordinance Creating the Position of Clerlc of the iNlayor's Court
<br />and Town Ha11 Clerk,, Fixing the Tenure, Compensation and Duties thereof, and
<br />Repealino Ordinances Nos. 650, 757, and 856,"Which Ordinance Was Read to Council.
<br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law
<br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended.

<br />The c}uestion of underground wiring for street lights, due to a request
<br />from Nir. Neroni.for permission to install this type of lighting, came up f or
<br />discussion. T4ayor Endress talked with Council on the subject and presented
<br />eight photographs of underground wiring. N1r. Edelman said he would write an
<br />ordinance if desired. Th.e question was then raised that this would create a
<br />doub.le assessment in_the development because of_our present Street Lightino
<br />Ordinance. There was some discussion on this and M.r,. Mason,and rir. Bennett
<br />said they.would.like to see this system before doing anything.
<br />Mr. Belzer then reported that Mr. Shortle had requested a new Siren
<br />For the new Police Ambulance. This would cost.about $250.00. The Safety
<br />Commiti:ee then recommended that this be purchased. It was then moved by Nir.
<br />Bennett, seconded by Mr., Shaw, that Mr. Shortle be authorized to purchase a
<br />new Siren.
