Mr. DeMore had a development in Mayfield Heights which he wished to
be taken care oF by the sewer on Wilson Mills Road and;told Council he would
get easements and give them to Council if Council approved his plan for running
this sewer through property owned by Dr. Sowin and thence into Wilson Mills.
Nir. Mason asked if it were not unusual to put a sewer across land that is under
appeal for-rezoning. There was a great deal of discussion on this matter in
Council, with varying thoughts on the matter. Mr. DeMore asked Council, if he
brought in?easements for this sewer and had approval of the County-and gave a
borid, would Council approve. Mr. DeMore was then asked to bring in his papers
for the next meel:ing and Council would look into the matter.
Mr. Peterson then talked of the Sewer on SOM Road. He said that he
had some conversation with Puzinski and there was no present plans f or a
trunk sewer that would talce care of the" developments on SOM Road, IIe said that
Mr. Neroni could put in a treatment plant big enough to talce care of the
Platsner property if a deal could be made with them and it could be made a
condition on the development of the Platsner property. Right now the contract
which the County has does not provide f or a sewer to talce care of these properties-
that if, however, a trunlc sewer was constructed, the treatment plant would have
to be discon.tinued. •
Mayor Endress said that any streets in whatever development would be
involved,:that -the Sanitary sewer would then run to the East of this trunk line
and carried North to the North line of Neroni°s property; that this is the only
place it can go into SOM Center Sewer. The Mayor said that Neroni was putting
in a sewer for his property and who is going to pay f or the line to the SOM
7,?.,
