<br />The Mayor then read a report f rom the Assessment Equalization Board statin.g
<br />that they had met on the objections of Mr. Scheer and Mrs. Gillis; that they f ound
<br />that the. assessments. conformed to i:he resolution and are in apportionment, therefor
<br />they f ound the asses.sments as reported to be proper; they upheld the assessments
<br />and overruled the objecY.ions. It was the opitzion of our_Engineer.that the, pave-
<br />ment in front of the homes that are objecting should be put in.. P1r.:Bennett said
<br />that it was a mistalce that we did not go all the way to [Jilson Niills Road. There
<br />was considerable discussion with Council and residents of this area. Mr. Shaca,
<br />seconded by Mr. Mason9 then introduced Resolution No. 646, entitled: "A Resol-
<br />' ution Approving the Report of the Assessment Equalization F3oard on Objections
<br />Concerning the Estimated Assessments for the Improvement of Worton Partc Drive,
<br />North Woodlane Drive, Norman Lane, South Woodlane Drive and Woodlane Drive, by
<br />Grading, Draining and Paving With Asphaltic Materials, Together With all
<br />Necessary Appurtenances" , which resolution was read to Council.
