Mre Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced Resolution:No_ 651, <br />entitled; "An Energency Resolutioiz Providing for the I3orrowing of Money in <br />the Sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars and the Issuing of a Note of the Village of <br />Mayf ield Theref or ' in Anticipation of the Collec-t ion of Current P.evenues From <br />Real Estate and Public Utility Taxes in and for the Fiscal Year 1965, Declaring <br />` the Necessity of the Issuance of said Note, and Declaring an Lmergency", which <br />resolution was read to Council. <br />I-t was moved by Mr. G7alker, seconded by Mr. blason, that the rules of law <br />requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />P.oll Call: Ayes -.Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, rSason, 51oan & Aelzer. <br />Nays - None. , <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Tt was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Mason, that Resolution No. 651 <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />? <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Nlessrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None • Nlotion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />The bids f or Rubbish and Garbage were tabled until the tiext meeting,as <br />the Committee to Interview the Quigley Disposal Co. had been unable to make <br />connections with this company.' Mr. Peterson then reported that the Schloss Paving Company were low <br />bidders £or repaving of Worton Park at a figure of $82,245.00, with Pioneer <br />Contracting f or $109,305.00; Horvitz Co, f or $84,980.00 and Northern Ohio Paving <br />f or $95,170. 00, Mr. Edelman then spolce of the appeal f rom this paving and said <br />that M r. Scheerer's attorney said that he would file a taxpayer's:suit; that he <br />did not.see how it could be resolved f or the August I1eeting. <br />bir. Peterson suggested that this assessment be held in abeyance, but Mr. <br />Edelman said that we could not do this because it was on home improvements; he <br />said that the bids could be held ior sixty days., Mr. Scheerer sa-id at th•is <br />time that if his strip was left alone, he would not f ile a suit. T.t was then <br />moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. 47allcer, that these bids be i:abled until the <br />next Council meeting. ' Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Wallcer, A4ason, Sloan & Be.lzer, <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion ca-rried <br />Mr. Edelman then reported that he had prepared a Conflict of Interest <br />Ordinance and read this ordinanc'e to Council. Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, <br />tlien introduced Ordinance No. 902, entitled: "An Ordinance Def ining Gonflict <br />of Interest", which ordinance was read to Council. <br />'It was moved by Mr. NTason, seconded by Mr. 5haw, that the rules of.law <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />3.
