<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />November 15, 1965 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Regular Meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None. <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting o£ October 18, 1965, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the <br />Minutes.of the Regular Meeting be.approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />, :Minutes Approved <br /> <br />Mr< Sloan, reporting for the Architectural Board of Review, said that <br />the Board had looked over and rejected three houses because of chimneys and <br />windows. <br />Mr. Bennett, reporting for the Building Committee, said that.Mr. Wieland <br />had asked f or a private line into the new service garage. There was some <br />discussion in Council on this matter and it was felt that due to our finances <br />it would be better to extend the present line No. 1266 into the garage. It <br />was then moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that an extension of <br />Hillcrest 2-1266 be run into the Service Garage. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Bennett then asked for $350.00 to Landscape the area of the Service <br />Garage. It.was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the Clerk be <br />authoriz'ed to pay.Landscaping bills up to $350.00. Mr. Bennett is using the <br />money for trees. Mr.:Bennett then reported that Street Zights wer.e put .up in <br />back of the Garage. <br />Mr. Belzer, reporting f or the Safety and Service Committee, said that <br />he had met with the three heads of our departments, but no one else showed up. <br />Mr. Mason, reporting f or the Zoning and Planning Commission, read the <br />minutes of their November 8, 1965, meeting to Council. Mr. Edelman:then told <br />Mr. Mason that the Plantting and Zoning Commission would have to publish a <br />notice"of a public hearing bef ore they could grant permission to the Shell <br />Oil people. Mr. Edelman said that he would publish notice. This then brought <br />up a discussion of parked cars around our gas stations. Mr. Kaplan suggested <br />that control of this nuisance be done by ordinance. Mr. Edelman said that <br />1.
