Mr. Edelman then reported that the County Engineer had submitted an <br />Ordinance to Remove Snow and Ice From the Village Streets; that Ridgebury was <br />now includeda Mr; Mason, secpnded by Mr..Shaw, then introduced Ordinance No. <br />916 entitled: "An Ordinance Giving the Consent of the Village of Mayfield to <br />the Removal of Snow and Ice From Certain Roads Within the Village", which <br />ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of law <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Ca11:AyMessrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Ordinance No. <br />916 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennette Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Edelman then reported that ous Engineer should get after the County <br />to get some f igures in on Ridgebury so that we can get our Bond Legislation <br />going; our notes being due in March. <br />Mra Edelman then spoke of our Garbage contract; that he wrote a letter <br />to Quigley and he came in looking for a contraet. Mr. Edelman said that he . <br />didngt know where the bids were. The Committee to handle the clarif ication <br />of these bids claim that they gave.them to Mr. Quigley. Mayor Endress,_then <br />asked if it was the wish of Council to pick up rubbish and garbage from our <br />business placese Mro Edelman was then asked to draw up a contract and.. , <br />exclude business areas, except for the months of September, October, and <br />November, 1965. Mrv Belzer,.seconded by Mro,Walker, then introduced Ordinance <br />No: 917, entitledm "An Ordinance Accepting the Bid of Quigley Disposal, Ine. <br />f or Garbage and Rubbish Pick-Up and Disposal", which ordinattce was read to <br />Council. _ , . . <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes:- Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />.
