Mr. Rogers then reported that he had noticed that the Attorney General <br />had rules that pensiott funds should not exceed $10,000 in any one bank and <br />that the Police Pension was now up to $15,000.00, Mr. Edelman said that the <br />Pension Board should authorize putting_the excess in another bank; that all <br />this was up to the Pension Board. <br />Mra Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then itttroduced Ordinance No. 918, <br />entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance Noe 645 by Increasing the Rate <br />of Compensation f or Inspectors on Village Improvements and by Designatittg the <br />Village Engineer as the Inspector on and after January 1, 1966" which <br />ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mro Walker, that the rules of <br />oaw requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - Mr. Mason. <br />' Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Ordinance No. <br />918 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Callo Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - Mr. Mason. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress then read the report from the various Departments to <br />Council. <br />Mr. Edelman then spoke of the meeting with Commissioner Gorman relative <br />to the Richmond Heights Sewage Disposal Plant and the Assessments against <br />Village property, Mayor Endress then gave an explanation and a report on this <br />meeting. Mayor Endress said that there was another meeting set up which he <br />could not attend and said that some one f rom Council should go down. Council <br />thought that Mr. Bennett should attend. <br />Mr. Kaplan then asked what was the next step in rezoning his property <br />on Sandalwood. He said that he did not own the SOM Center prorerty and could <br />not get entrance.there; that he thought that Van Curen would want his property <br />to stay commercial and would not go in with him. Mr. Kaplan said he would <br />call Van Curen though and see. <br />There being no further business to come bef ore Council, upon motion <br />made and duly put, Council adjourned. <br />.?
