<br />Minutes of the Regular Meetittg <br />December 20, 1965 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Regular Meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M.,--Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call; Present - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None <br />The Mittutes of the Regular Meeting o£ November 15, 1965, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Niotion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Sloan, reporting for the Architectural Board, said that they had <br />met and approved one alteration on SOM Center Road. <br />Mr. Bennett, reporting for.the Building Committee, said that the Shrubs <br />for the Service Garage Area were on the way. <br />Mr. Mason, reporting for the Planning and Zoning Commi.ssions read their <br />Minutes of December 13, 1965, meeting to Council. Mr. Mason then discussed <br />the items in this reading with Council. A great deal of the discussion was the <br />granting of a U-5 permit.f or a gas station. This permit was granted with <br />restrictions worked out with the Oil people. Some o£ the discussion centered <br />around the parking of cars in the Gas Station areao Mr. Bennett said that <br />everything in the restrictions should be written out in black and white so <br />that there would be tto parking of boats, trailers, trucks, tractors and no <br />rental'of U-Haul trailers. The Sun Oil representativ2 said that all this <br />had been covered but that the Gas Station should be allowed to park emergency <br />vehicles. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, then introduced Ordinance No. 663, <br />entitled: " A Resolution Granting a Special Permit to Shell Oil Company to <br />Use Certain.Premises f or a Gasoline Station", which resolution was read to <br />Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the rules of <br />law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Cal,l: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennett, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />1.
