Mayor Bennett then said that he had certain committees to appoint and <br />that each member of Council had a copy of his report. <br />Mayor Bennett then appointed Mr. James Sloan as Chairman, and Mr.James <br />Niason, Mra rloyd Davis and Mr. Torrey Walker to the Safety and Service Committee. <br />It was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that these appointments be <br />conf irmed . <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan:& Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carri:'ed" <br />Appointments Conf irmed <br />Mayor Bennett then appointed Mr. Robert Shaw as Chairman, and Mr. James <br />Mason and Mr. James Sloan to the Finance Committee. It was moved by Mr. <br />Walker, seconded by Mr.,Davis, that these appointments be confirmed. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davise <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Appointments Confirmed <br />Mayor Bennett then appointed Mr. Rodney Nickerson from 6705 Glenview <br />Road to a six year term, replacing Mr. Charles Fitzgerald on the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission; Mr. Shaw to be the Council representative. It was then <br />moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Walker, that these appointments be confirmed. <br />T4ayor Bennett also stated at this time that Chairman Walter Hoag had two years <br />remaining of this six year term and Mr. L1oyd Burkes had four years left of ; <br />his six year term. Mr. Henry Dumont and'Mrs. <br />Kay Dorn Cass still have their terms to fill.
