The signs would cost $714.45 and would come out of the <br />road fund. The NTayor,deemed this an emergency and requested immediate approval. The machine could be replaced for $189.00. <br />It was agreed that a new machine be purchased, <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Ordinance D1o. 927, <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Authorizing the Purchase of an Adding Machine f rom <br />the American Typewriter Company", which ordinance was.read to Council,. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions besuspended. <br />G.
