NIr. <br />Edelman stated that it should be referred to the Finance Committee. It was <br />then suggested that?a building and maintenance f und ordinance existed in 1954 <br />and could still-be used. The Clerlc-Treasurer was asked to check into that <br />possibility. <br />The Engineer's Estimate of Cost for the improvement of Lander Road was <br />presented by Mr. Peterson, the Village Engineer, as follows; <br />Estimated Construction Total chargeable to <br />Village of Mayfield . 32,890.75 <br />Plus 10% for contingencies . 3,289.08 <br />Estimated Improvemeat Total chargeable to <br />Village of Mayfield $ 36,179.83 <br />VILLAGE PORTION <br />27, of Estimated Improvement Total plus cost <br />? of intersections $ 2,223a59 <br />PROPERTY OWNER''S POP.TION ? <br />Assessable Total 33,956.24 <br />Benefitted Frontage • 2,821.40 <br />• Estimated rate per front foot (incl sidewalk) 12,035 ft. <br />NIr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Resolution #666 entitled, <br />"A Resolution Declaring it Necessary to Improve Lander Road in the Village of <br />Alayfield, Ohio, by Grading, Draining, Curbing and Paving ( including curb <br />connections where necessary) and Installing of Sidewalks, together with all <br />Necessary Appurtenances and Declaring an Emergency:, which resolution was read <br />to Council. • - <br />5.
