Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Resolution #678 be approved <br />and passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />' Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />?• ? . <br />Mrv Walker, reporting for the Welf are and Recreation Committee, read a <br />letter from the Assistant Superintendent of Schools thattking Council for the <br />basketball basket and post to be installed at the new high school. <br />The proposed basketball basket and post for the church?parking lot was <br />referred to the Church Recreation Board, <br />Mr. Sloan had nothing to report for the Cemetery Committee. <br />Mr. Busa, reporting for the Architectural Board, requested to submit his <br />report at the ttext Council meeting. <br />Mr. James Plastine, Civil Def ense Director, stated that he had attended <br />a meeting in Medina concerning aid to villages and cities in case of national <br />disaster. Mr. Plastine thought the meetittg was very informative. • <br />Mayor Bennett asked Mr. Plastine about the working condition of the <br />Civil Defense Siren iti the Village. The siren hasn't been working f or the last <br />two tests and the Mayor would like this corrected immediately. <br />Mr. Shaw, reporting For the Planning and Zoning Committee, read the <br />Minutes of the meeting of June 14, 1966. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, moved to include Section 31.4 a, an <br />amendment to proposed Ordinance #960. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis, <br />Nays - None.
