<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />September 18, 1967 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in'regular session at the <br />Village ilall on Monday, September 18, 1967,;at 8;00 P. M., Mayor Bennett <br />presiding. Roll Call; Present - Mayor Bennett, Messrs S1oan,Busa,Walker,Mason, <br />Schmidt and Davis. Absent- None. <br />The paragraph in the minutes of the last meeting relating to purchase <br />requisitions was corrected to read, "Purchase requisitions over $50.00 must be <br />submitted to the Clerk-Treasurer for certification of the funds being available <br />in writing, then they are approved by the Mayor or President of Council pro tem." <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the minutes be accepted as <br />corrected. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Sloan, Busa, Walker, Mason, Schmidt & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Minutes Accepted <br />Building Committee - Mr. Davis - No Report. <br />Streets and Roads - Mr. Sloan. <br />The tarring of the roads is completed. <br />October 2, 1967 bids will be received for paving Worton Park Drive. It <br />depends upon the weather, but it is doubtful if it will be campleted this year.' <br />Mr. Mason wondered if it was necessary to receive a wage schedule. Mr. Peterson <br />said that, to his knowledge, it was still necessary. Niayor Bennett asked that <br />in case the paving contract is not awarded this Fall, a paragraph could be added <br />so i't will not have to be re-bid or re-advertised next year. Mr. Edelman said <br />that this could be done. <br />Mayor Bennett asked Mr. Peterson and Mr. Foltz to check the holes in <br />Worton Park Drive. ` <br />The Service Department toolc care of 0°Donnell's driveway. They also <br />patched the hole on Sandalwood. <br />Bonnieview, Seneca and Glenview are sealed f ine. <br />Mayor Bennett announced that a f ootbridge will be put over the ravine on <br />Beech Hill to Wilson Mills Road. .. ? <br />1.
