Minutes of the Regular Meeting . <br />October 16, 1967 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the <br />Village Hall on Monday, October 16,,1967, at 8:00 P. Ma, Mayor Bennett <br />presiding. _ Roll Gall; Present - Mayor Bennett, Messrs Sloan, Busa9 Walker, Mason, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent - None. ° <br />? <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Walker, moved that the Minutes of September <br />18, 1967, meeting be accepted and approved, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs`Sloan, Busa, Walker, Mason, Schmidt & Davis. <br />: _Nays - None. <br />" Motion carried <br />Minutes Accepted <br />Building Committee - Mr. Davis. <br />Plans are being made to paint the basement. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Sloan. Mr. Sloan reported to the.Finance Committee that an invoice for $7,850.00 <br />has been received for the Fire Truck chassis. ' <br />The Fire_ Department is,planning a"Turkey Festival" Novm 18, 1967. <br />Evacuation procedure was discussed f or Mayfield Center School and the <br />local::churchese <br />No more building permits were to be issued on Kenwood North until they <br />haye coffipleted their part of the agreement on the two cul-d-sacs. <br />The Girl Scouts were given permission to meet downstairs in the Village <br />Hall on M ondays, 3:00 to 5:00 P. M. <br />Highland Heights and Mayfield Village are cottducting a traff ic survey <br />at Wilson Mi11s.Road and the High School., <br />Chief Shortle, Chief Hejcl and Mr. Mason attended a disaster meeting. <br />Mre Walker and Mr. Mason will work with the Service I7epartment for the <br />next two months, Mr. Busa and Mr. Davis with the Pol:ice Department, and Mr. <br />Schmidt,and Mr. Sloan with the Fire Department. <br />1.
