Mr. Sloan asked Mr. Busa about the auxiliary power supply that was to <br />have been discussed with Mr. Beebe. It was decided that Chief Shortle shuuld <br />contact Mr. Beebe about it. <br />? <br />Streets and Roads - Mr. Sloan - No report. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Sloan - No Report. <br />Welf are and Recreation = Mr.'Walker - No Report. ? <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Busa. <br />Mr. Busa reported that proposals processed this year were 67, approved 55, <br />and proposals rejected 12a Dollar value approved'to date for 1967 -$1,765,800.00. <br />Planning and Zoning Coimnission ? Mr: Mason.' Mr. Mason read the Minutes of the October 9, 1967 meeting. <br /> <br />Mro Mason read a letter that was written by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayf ield to the Council of Highland Heights, voicing their disapproval of the <br />60 ft. Sunoco sign near the Freeway. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Mason. <br />Mr. Mason reported that the Finance Committee had met October 11, 1967, . <br />and had reviewed the invoices f or payment and approved those bills in proper <br />order for payment. Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced Pay Ordinance No. 530-P to <br />authorize disbursement of f unds. <br />Roll Ca11; Ayes - Messrs Sloan, Busa, Walker, Mason, Schmidt & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance'Passed <br />In accordance with recently passed state legislation authorizing the <br />payment of liability insurance f or volunteer firemen when aaswering f ire calls, <br />the Clerk-Treasurer will investigate the type policies and cost recommended. <br />Purchase order forms have now been received and'have been placed in usage <br />for all purchases exceeding $50.00. <br />The Finance Committee approved the recommendation of the Safety and <br />Service Committee that the Automobile Club be authorized to engineer the proper <br />and needed traff ic light control system near the High School;( Lander, Miner <br />and Wilson Mills Roads). Ultimate costs of engineering will be shared with <br />Highland Heights and possibly others. The recommendation that Council approve the bonding of Mayor, Service <br />Director, Building Inspector, Solicitor, Fire Chief, office clerks and Service <br />Department employees was returned to the Finance Committee f or further studq. <br />2.
