It:was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendedm <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />- Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />- Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer,seconded by Mr. biason; that Resolution.No. <br />527 be approved and passed as reado <br />Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer, <br />Nays - None. <br />blotion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mayor Endress reported that he had another nut to crack; that in talking <br />with Mr. Schulz the other day he had mentioned that he was concerned with the <br />water draining from the Freeway; that there was a 72 inch tile coming out onto <br />his property to a creek that took only a trickle of watero r4ayor Endress then <br />read a letter from Mr. Wieland, who was aiso concerned. and said that.the State <br />should be stopped until they came up with an answer to the problem of getting <br />the water across S0M Roada Mayor Endress then recommended that our Engineer <br />check with the State and the State and the Highway Department, as it looked <br />as though they had changed the water coursee Our Engineer said that he was <br />going to check into this; that they h.ad checked all drainages and found them <br />okay, but they may have changed this. Our Engineer said he would like to look <br />into this matter and report on it at the next Council meeting. Mr. Sloan;said <br />that they had raised the road because they had run into rocks. <br />Mre Bennett, reporting for the Build'ing Committee, said that L-hey were <br />going to fix the steps.of the Town Hall temporarily and Mr. Endress.said to <br />get together with the Building Committee and get something dorte quickly, as <br />the steps caere in a dangerous condition. <br />Mr. r1a5on, reporting for the Architectural Board, said ti.iat he had not <br />attended the meeting last Thursday but had looked over the plans of one house <br />moving from Mayfield Heights; that the Architectural Board had seen this <br />house-and felt that it would f;it into the area; that one addition had been <br />approved and had looked at a house on Bishop Road to be moved to a lot on <br />SOM Road. Mr. Howard Schulz then reported that he questioned the right of <br />Mr. Van Curan to subdivide this property without the permission of the Village. <br />Mr<. Edelman said.that the map showed the plot of this land but that it should <br />not have been done'cvithout permission of the Zoning & Planning Commission; that <br />this was subdivided in 1960 and was done by Mr. Lockemer and not Mr. Van Curan. <br />Mr. Wieland said that Mr. Van Curan was not concerned as he had purchased this <br />lot after it was subdivided. • , - <br />6.
