<br />Special Council Meeting <br />Village of Mayf ield <br />June 8, 1962 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Special Meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 7:30 P. M. on Friday, June 8, 1962, pursuant to notice given to <br />all members of Council according to laca, Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None. <br />Mayor Endress then asked that Council dispernse with the reading of the <br />Minutes of the Regalar Meeicing and proceed with the bnsiness at hand, <br />- Mr. Edelman then reported that the Assessment Notice had been fully <br />advertised, that two weeks had elapsed and it Paas now in order to pass an <br />ordinance to levy assessments on the five streets in Worton Park; that the <br />total amount of the assessments was $698900m00; that if the ordinance was <br />passed the abuttitng property owners would be given 30 days to pay in cash <br />and this would come off the bond issueo The bonds would be for a period of <br />10 years. <br />Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mro Mason, then introduced ordinance No. 769, <br />entitled: "An Ordinance to Levy Special Assessments for the Improvement of <br />Worton Park Drive, Woodlane Drive, North Woodlane Drive, South Woodlane Drive, <br />and Norman Lane Drive by the Construction of Water Mains and Appurtenances°,, <br />which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Calle Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedles, Bennett, Sloan, Mason & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that ordinance No. <br />769 be approved and gassed as read, <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs 2orne Wedler, Bennett, Sloan, Mason & Belzer, <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />ordinance Passed <br />? 1.
