Mr. Masong re?orting for the Architectural Board,,said that they had <br />met on June 14, 1962g and approved.two homes and.made sugge?tions on",another. <br />Mr. Mason then reported that the plans f or a split level home had been`approved <br />but the plans had been reversed upon construction and that this house looked <br />very unsightly, situated as it was; that the high side of the house was openly <br />exposed and appeared out of keeping in its surroundings, The Committee recommended <br />that two windows be installed to break.up the wall and add to the lookso Mrm <br />Mason said that.Council should make.sare that'the builder is f ined if these <br />windows are,not installed. A lady in the Audience said that at Meadowwood Circle <br />they had the same iind of a hvuse, but it did not look so bad'there, Mr. Mason <br />said that Mr. Dumont is going to send'Mayor $ndress a letter on this matter. <br />Mayor Endress said he would write a letter to.the builder but wished to see the <br />letter from Mro Dumont` first. There was a g`reat deal of discussiom in Couticil <br />over this mistakeo Mr. Wieland said that he did not notice that the plans had <br />been reversed. <br />Mro Mason reported that, while they were inspecting this turned around <br />house,n Mr. Urich had commented to them that Gerome and Capretta, who had an <br />easement to bui7.d up the back of the property which had washed away, had come <br />onto Mre Urich's property and. talcen dirt ancl ten or twelve small trees he had <br />planted. Mro Wieland said that this had been taken eare of by the_builders. <br />Mayor,Endress then spoke of the house on the Freew.ay right of way <br />whieh had to be moved and`Mro Zorn said that this house was good enough to . <br />be moved. Mra Belzer said that after he reported that it was good enough to <br />move, he did not see why he had to take it up with the Architectural Boards <br />Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Belzers then introduced Resolution.No. 5-39, <br />entitled: "A Resolution Waiving the Requirement of Approval` of the,Architectural <br />Board of Review f or the Granting of.a Permzt to Move a Certaia House to Prem'ises <br />on Hi,ghland Road",.which resolution was read to Council, It,was moved by Mra Belzery,seconded by Mr. Bennett,. that the ru1QS, <br />of.,,law. requir`ing. a.resolu,tion to be read on,, three. separate occasions be. suspended. <br />Roll Calle Ayes - Messrs Zornn Wedlere Bennett, S1oan`,and Be.lzer. <br />Nays - Mr. Ma'son :_1 .... <br />Motion, carried <br />Rules Su'spended <br />It was moved by Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mra Sloan, that Resolu.tion <br />Noe 539 be approved and passed as re,ad. _ <br />, , . _ <br />Ro17. Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Benne'tt,`Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - Mr. Wedler, and Mr. Mason not qotingo;-. <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr, Zorn, reporting f or the Finanee Committee9 said that the Committee <br />had found 'all fhe bills to be in order, It' was then moved by.Mra .Zorn, - <br />seconded by.Mr. Wedler, that Ordinance No. 466-P be approved and passecl as read. <br />4.
