Mr. Bennette reporting f or the Building Committee, said that•he had one item, "The Frottt Stsps of the Town Ha11B"; that he had=checked the Uid received at the May meeting and it does not include Footers. The bid would , be $600.00 if f ooters are necessaayo Mr. Bennett said that they could not be sure about this until the steps zJere dismantled. ? Mr. Sloanp seconded by Mr. Belzerg then introduced a Resolution that the bid of Mr., Charles M. Stappengs to construct steps at ttze front entrance of the Towri Hall be accepted at a price of $430.00. Howevere in the advent of the necessity to construct £ooters, Mro Steppengs• bid of $600000 is to be accepted. Mr. Porter'also reported that the FireMen had pumped out basements on Robley Lane.and requested that 'the Filter Beds in this area be checkedm The Committee also. aske`d that a letter be writteYn to Mayf ield Heightss asking them to check all their Sanitary Sewers to see if some of thetri are not dumping into the Storm Sewers. This has been brought about due to the fact that Sewage has been showing up in our Bonnieview Storm `Sewerm Mro rdelman was also asked to write a letter to the County because of odors emanating f rom the Beech Hill pumping stationo Council alsa asked Mr. Peters.on to check into these two matters. , . ? . , , . , It was then moved by Mr. Sloan, 'econded by Mro Belzer, that this matter be turned over to our Engiaeer, r1r.
