Mayor Endress.then asked for a report fram our Engineer about the odor <br />from the pumping station on Beech Hill. Mr. Weiss9 reporting in the absence <br />of Mr. Peterson, said that Mr. Peterson had talked to Mr. Puzinski; that he <br />did not know what transpired and could not tell a thing more about it. Mr. <br />Weiss went on to say that he had talked with Mr. Badgely fsom Mayfield Heights <br />about sewage in the storm sewer and had met with Woodruff on the Trunk Treatment <br />Plant in Richmond Heights. Mro Weiss?then turned over to Council a copy of a <br />report on this meeting. Mr. Weiss brought out the disturbing fact that this <br />sewer was proposed to run down Midvale Avenue to SOMs thence SOM to Highland , <br />to Chardon Roado Council then asked Mre Weiss to get in tQUCh with Mr. DeMore <br />and set up a meeting with Council and take up this proposition, as i:his had <br />-been news to everyonem? Mayor Endress then asked that this meeting be-scheduled <br />for the night of the August meeting. - <br />Ms, Bennettb reporting f or the Building Committees said that he had <br />been after bids on sidewalks for the Town Hall praperty and had secured one f ram <br />the Mays Construction Companp f or $999.00 which was much lower than any he had <br />been able to get. One other bid was f or $1,185.00, <br />Mro Belzer, seconded by Mr. S4oana then introduced Resolution No. 547, <br />entitled; a,AResolution Aceepting the Bid of Mays Construction Coo to Install <br />Sidewalks and Apzons on Wilson Mills Road Abutting Village Property''s which <br />resolution was read to Councilm <br />,It was-moved by Mro Belzer, seeonded by Mro Sloan, that the rules of : <br />law requiring a•resolution to.be read on three separate occasions-be suspendedo . <br />Roll Callg Ayes, m'Messrs, Zorn, Wedlera Bennetta Mason, Sloan & Belzerm <br />Nays - None. ` - <br />motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />t It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that,Resolution No. <br />547 be approved and,passed-as read, <br />Ro11 Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />< < < < Mro Belzers reporting for the Safety and-Serviee Committee, said that <br />they had met on July 2nds 1962, and discussed the drainage flow from the North- <br />South Freeway at Ridgebury Blvcls Mayor Endress suggested that M ro Peterson <br />itavestigate this matter in order to make sure the drainage from the Freeway <br />did not cause trouble with property awners during the-raiap seasono; Mayor <br />Endress then asked our Engineer where they were running the water at Ridgebury <br />and Mr. Weiss said that k?e would calY the State and obtain their plans; Mr. <br />Weiss said that tha,s would probably be anottier deal like the Schulz property. <br />Mro Masona reporting for the Architectural Boardg said tha-t they had <br />two meetirigs on June 28, 1962, and approved plans for moving a home on Highland <br />Road to 1'arcel 831-11-11 and also plans for a farm building on Wilson Mills Road. <br />Otae set of plans were approved at the Ju.ly 12s 1962, meeting. <br />2.
