Mayor Endress then reported that he had a report from the Committee on <br />the Leppelmeier matter; that he had a•phone call that everything was all right <br />and if we wanted to inspect the pr.emises we should see Mr. Zeppelmeier with a <br />warrant.- Mayor Endress then asked.the Committee to inspect the premises. <br />The Finance Committee having approved the pay ordinance, it was moved <br />by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that Pay Ordinance No. 467-P be approved <br />and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Bennette <br />Nays - No ne. <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Mason then asked if the signs throughout the Village could be <br />painted, as they were beginning to look bad. Mr. [Jieland said they eould not <br />be painted, that he would.have to get new ones. .. <br />There was some discussion in Council_on the lights for the Freeway and <br />what could be done to safieguard the children in getting them by the interchange. <br />No conclusion was reached. The Police Department is checking.with the Auto <br />Club, howeVer. .` <br />Mrs. Shaw then reported that the windows were still not in the house <br />that had been built reversed from its plans. Mr. Edelman said that he had <br />wsitten a letter and said that they.had.agreed_to put,them in. The fact that <br />Mr. Capretta.had not fixed up the streets for dedication came up and Mayor <br />Endress said that he could not force Mr. Capretta to f ix these streets< Mr. <br />Edelman said that if it was over two years, he thought we could do it and use <br />the bond money. Mayor Endress then asked Mr. Edelman to check on the bond< <br />Mr. Wieland has a lis.ic of the streets.in.question and.the corrections.to be <br />made and will give them to Mr. Edelman. ? <br />Mayor Endress then read.the reports f rom the Committees to Council. <br />Mr. Verbsky f rom Highland Road on the old Parlcer place said that he <br />had a notice to cut down his weeds and asked if everyone had receiv-ed such a <br />notice. Mayor Endress said that they had or were in the process of receiving <br />such notices and that he was not being discriminated against, <br />. ? . <br />There being no further business to come bef ore Council, upon motion <br />made and_dnly put, Coancil adjourned. <br />f, <br />Attest; <br />Mayor - President of Council <br />. ? , . <br />( AL) <br />10.
