<br /> Mayor EndseQS then turned back to the matter of the Sanitary Sewer on <br /> Lander Road which had been dropped momentarily, Mr. Belzer said that if it goes <br /> on our side we should do the engineering on it. Yt was then moved by Mr., Belzer, <br /> seconded by Mr. Sloan, that Mre Edelman confer with the Solieitor of Highland <br /> Heightsa <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messss Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Edelman advised that our contract with Standard Oil had expired. <br />He said that he could not tell whether we must advertise or not, but would <br />check on the matter. <br />Mapor Endress then read-a letter from the Grange, enclosing a check <br />f or $200.00 which they donated to us for some good,purpose0 Mayor Endress <br />suggested that this money be put in the Building Equipment Fund. The Clerk was <br />asked to write and thank the Grangeo <br />Mr. Wedler, reporting for the Planning and Zoning Commission, read <br />their M inutes to Council. . <br />Mayor Endress read another letter from Mr. Peterson on the New_High <br />School, ris. Mason said that we.should check into the drainage for the back <br />area, as it eould be seriouss Mr. Porter then.showed..plans calling f or,seven <br />hydsants on the school property and said that this was now cut down to two. <br />ChieE Porter said that these were not sufficient and a good pumper would pump <br />the line dry.:.in a short time, .,• <br />Mr. Sloan, seconded b.y. Mr.-Mason, then-introdueed a.Resolution entitled: <br />°'A Resolution Voiciexg Council4s Objection-to the Mayf ield City School System <br />Using 'Itao Hydrants in Place of the Seven Originally Planned and Also Objecting <br />to the Use of a Six Inch Main to Supply .Water•', which resolution was read to <br />Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. A4ason, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolutioa to be read on three separate occasions be.snspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer, <br />Nays - None. <br />- Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mra Bennett, that the resolution <br />be approved and passed as read. _ <br />Roll Call; Ayes? Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Resolutioa Passed <br />9.
