The subject of the roads in the Eastgate Estates was again brought <br />up and Mr< Edelman said that he had talked with.Mr. Capretta, who said that <br />it was to his interest to make these repairs as soon as possible and promised <br />to do them if possible by this meeting. Mr." Edelman said that he would contact <br />Mr. Capretta again and that we had a bond on this which could be used if <br />necessary. Mr. Peterson was then asked about the drainage of the Freeway and said <br />that he had received the items he was looking for but.was not prepared at <br />this time to give any answers until the matter was studied more thoroughly, <br />rir. Edelman said that he had received nothing from the State as yet on a <br />sidewalk across the Freeway portian of Wilson Mills. <br />Mayor Endress.then asked f or reports from the Committees. Mr. Mason, <br />reporting f or-the Architectural Board, said that they had met on August 22nd, <br />1962, approved two homes and a garage addition and had looked over and approved <br />the plans f or the New High School, objecting, however, along with Chief porter, <br />to the present water supply plans. <br />Mr. Mason.remarked that our Fire Chief had cheeked with the State and <br />now had support on his stand in the matter. <br />There was nothing to report from the Building Committee or the Welfare <br />Commit te e. <br />Mr. Belzer, reporting for the Safety and Service Committee, said that <br />they had spent most of the meeting discussing the water and hydrant matter; <br />that Mr. Wielaad had asked for repairs on the present tractor and for a blade <br />to plow snow from the sidewa].ks. Nir. Wieland was then asked to get an estimate <br />ott the repairs and the blade and also on a new tractor cahich would give us <br />down pressure for cleaning our ditches, Mr. Wieland then presented a price <br />of $284.00 for a snow blade, $3131.00 for a tractor and $1005.75 for a loader <br />with a trade in of our old tractor of $1,950.00 with 10 daps delivery. <br />Estimated repairs on the old_tractor would amount to $730.00, Mro Belzer <br />then discussed with Council the work that could be done with a new tractor <br />and it was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that Council advertise <br />for.bids on a new tractor, a blade and a f ront end loader, with the old <br />tractor being traded in. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, GTedler, Bennett, riason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Endress then asked <br />police car.
