Nir. Edelman then reminded Council that-it was time to pass the Annual <br />Resolution on Tax Rates. Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Wedler, then introduced <br />Resolution No. 553 entitled; "A Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates <br />as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies <br />and Certifying Them to the County Auditor'°, which resolution was read to <br />Council. ` <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - Nones <br />. Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that Resolution <br />No. 553 be approved and passed as read: <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - No ne. . <br />Motion carried <br />• Resoluti.on Passed <br />Mro Edelman then brought up the matter of a sewer on Lander Road and <br />said that we would handle this matter as they had handled the water line when <br />it was installed. Mre Edelman said that he would get together with Highland <br />He-ights and draw up a contract. . <br />Nlr. Edelman said that he had been asked to check up on the Standard <br />Oil contract and said that he had called the Standard Oil people and they were <br />willing to go along with the same rates without a contract and, inasmuch as they <br />had installed the pumps, he.,saw no reason to ask for a contract. <br />Mayor Endress then took up the matter of Sidewalks on Wilson Mills Road. <br />Mr. Peterson said that the work had been done, but was not at such a stage <br />that he.could give us the estimates of cost as yet, but would have them ready <br />for the next meei;ing. Mr. Peterson said that this was the best he could do, <br />Mr. Wedler, reporting f or the Zoning and Planning Commission, then <br />read their minutes to Council approving proposed Ordinance No. 773, as well <br />as proposed Ordinances Nosm 763 and 764. Mr. Wedler then.discussed the Fence <br />Ordinance with Coun.cil and Mr. Edelman read this ordinance. -Ordinance No. 773, <br />introduced by N1re Belzer, was entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance Noo <br />159, the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mayfield, by adding Section 19e1 <br />pertaining to f ences in Residential Districts." <br />' It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read.on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Mason,Sloan & Belzero <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion carried <br />' Rules Suspended <br />3.
