Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter f rom,.the Uhio State Highway Department <br />about the-sidewalks on Wilson Mills Road. The Righway Department said that they <br />could not authorize the cotistruction on these sidewalks. Mr. Edelman said that <br />he had called Mr. Donovan and that they were all going out of of£ice and that <br />he had €alked to Goleambus and they said i:t would be best to wait until the new people <br />get in;--that there"might`°be a?chance for-an-exception; that this srequest should <br />be started_all over again. Mayor Eadress then asked that if the Village.had,the <br />money for this sidewalk, could they go into.this area. Mr. Edelman said that <br />we would have to get the consent of the State. <br />Endress then, read a:,, letter from Mre Walter Rogers; stating that <br />the Police Pension Fund had deposits of $8,602.37..as of January 1, 1963. Mayor <br />Endsess then asked Chief Shortle-not to for;get his.report to the State this yeare <br />Mayor Eadress.reported that the High-Rise trial had been postponed to <br />March 6, 1963: - . ; - - Maqor EtLdress then.proceeded to read,the y.earlg reports f.rom the departments <br />togethei with the monthly reports. ,. <br />Mr. Edelman tlten spoke of the change of boundary between Highland Heights <br />and our Village on the Freeway and said that it would be necessary to have a <br />1'egal descript-ion and a psoper stcetch; that he had as.ked our Enginees for the <br />cost ofsuch a sketch. Mr. Weiss saa.d that it would be dif£icult .to do but <br />felt that it would run two hundred to three hundred dollass or less. Mr. <br />Edelman said'th'at=Highland Heights'would also get'an estimate on the cost of <br />tfiis sketch. Council agreed that they were in fagor of this change of bout?dary <br />to further safety and help the police and fire,departments ia case of accidents. <br />Our Eagineer then showed a plat of this road to Council sad said that.they <br />would just have to pass an ordinance changing the,bo.undary. <br />- . . , . .. ,. , .. , . . , . ,. , . , . - <br />_ Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Sloan, then introduced a Resolution Lhat our <br />Engineer be authorized to prcnride a proper sketch and description to adjust <br />the boundary line in the Freeway between Highland Heights and Mayfield Village <br />of -which cost-Mayfield village wotald- pay,half and- Highland Heights would pay <br />the other half. 5.
