11 <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />. February 18, 1963 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Ha11 at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason,,Sloan & Belzer, <br />• Absent - None. <br />The Minutes of the Rebular Meeting of January 21, 1963, were then read <br />to Council. I-t was moved by-Nlr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read, . <br />Roll Cal1: Ayes - Messrs, Wedler, Bennett,;Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer, <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Endress then asked f or- reports from the Committeese There was <br />nothing to report f rom the Building Committeea Mr. Mason said that he did <br />not attend the Architectural Board Meeting, but that Mr. Wieland had gone over <br />the plans £or the Van Curen Pro,ject and these plans had gone through the state. <br />The Board also looked over plans for a house on Beech Hill - both were approved. <br />ivir. Mason then said that he had received a call about a house on Eastgate <br />Drive that we had trouble with; the water pipes had broken and they got the <br />water shut off. Mr. Mason also reported that they had not put the windows <br />in this house yet as ordered by the Arcfiitectural Board. Mr. Edelman said <br />that he had sent them a letter about this matter. <br />Mr. Sloan, reporting f or the Welfare Committee, read a letter from <br />the Recreational Committee, asking that we budget $260.00 f or their expenses. <br />Mr. Sloari said that' he would like to have this amount, included in the budget. <br />Mr. Wedler, reporting for the Planning and Zoning,Commission, said that <br />due to sickness, they did not have a meeting; that there was nothing to. <br />come before the Board either. • <br />Mr. Belzer, reporting for the Safety and Service Committee, said that <br />they had met on February 4th at 7:30 P. M.; that Mr. LJieland had asked for . <br />an ordinance for cleaning snow on SOM Center Road; that they had a little <br />discussion, but nothing had been settled. Mr,Porter had also asked if we ,. <br />had a National Fire Code. There was some discussion of th.is matter in Council. <br />Mr. Edelman then received some material for inspection. _Mrm Wieland and Mr. <br />Porter were requested to have Highland Heights clean the Fire Hydrants on <br />Miner Roade Mr. Foltz cleaned those on Wilson Mills Road, It was also felt <br />that Highland Heights should clean the hydrants on La.nder Roada It was thought <br />that this would not be carried out, but Mayor Endress felt that they should <br />be asked. <br />1.
