Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced Resolution No. 560 <br />entitled: "A Resolution to Cancel the Installments of Water Main Assessments <br />for Certain Years on Parcel No. 831-18-17 on Metro Par1c Drive°", which <br />resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None.. . <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mre Belzer, that Resolution Noo <br />560 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes.- Messss Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None e <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Edelman then advised that the Illuminating Company had sent in an <br />amended ordinance to the rate ordinance f or the new lamps now out. <br />Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Ordinance No. 799 <br />entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend the Contract of the Village of D1ayf ield, <br />Ohio, With the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company Relating to Street <br />Lighting Service, to l2atify and Conf irm the Exi:sting Contraet in all Other . <br />Respects, and Declaring an Emergency", which ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of. <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions betsuspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs [dedler, Benttett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ru.les Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw,seconded by IVIr. Wedler, that Ordinance No. <br />799 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - riessrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Edelman then spoke of the high lamps installed on private property <br />and Mayor Endress said that he had talked with a representative of the <br />Illuminating Company who said that they knew of no ordinance but they were <br />interested. He said that they were interested in maintenance, but did not <br />want any diff iculty with anyone over the lamps; that if necessary they <br />could lower or shield these lamps, but did not think that it was hurting <br />anyone. <br />6.
