Roll Ca11:.Ayes,- Messrs Wedler, Bennett,.Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer, <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Endress then read the reports from _the various, departments. <br />Mr. Mason, reporting f or the Finance Committee, then recommended that <br />all utilities in the Zeslie House be shut off, so?that we do not have to pay <br />the heating bill, Mr. Mason also said that in looking,at the bi1Zs he felt <br />that we should shop around for some things and made reference to the mittens <br />purchased by the Fire Department from the Penny Stores. The Finance Committee <br />also f elt that some one could have furnished a slide rule if it had been known <br />that the purchase was to be made. <br />Mr. Nlason said that he thought we should overhaul our Buildittg Permit <br />fees;. that we should get a few from other municipalities and see how f ar <br />out of line we were. This was brought about by a remark from the State <br />Auditor that we were giving our permits away. <br />It was then moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mre Bennett, that Pay <br />Ordinance No. 467-P be approved and passed as'read., : <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan-& Belzer': <br />Nays - None. <br />, Motion carried <br />„ Pay, Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress said that he would check with Mre Wie.land anrl have the <br />utilities shut off in the Leslie House. Mr. Belzer saidtliat if it-fell .. <br />down it would not hurt anything and would probably save us taxes. Mr. Edelman <br />said that it should be put to municipal use, so that we would not haye to pay <br />taxes. , <br />Mr. riason then asked if we had any complaints, about trucks in, driveways <br />and Mr. Shortle said no. Mr. Mason asked about a letter to Mr. Leppelmei.er <br />about cleaning up his station; that it was still an eye sore. Mr. Bennett <br />said that he thought we had gone far enough now; that Mr. Leppelmeier was, <br />fed up and we would f ind_ourselves down in court. <br />There being no further business to come bef ore Council, the 'same was, <br />upon Motion duly made and seconded, duly adjourned. <br />, - <br />. <br />tlttest: <br />Mayor - President of Counc?1 <br />' - ?
