Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ° Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by rir. Belzer, that Ordinance:No. 801 <br />be appioved and passed as read. <br />Roll Ca11z'Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzere <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />. Mayor Endress then asked f or Committee Reports. Mr. Mason, reporting <br />for the Architectural Board, said that the Board recommended to Council that <br />they consider and originate legislation to provide that all residences newly <br />constructed within the Village have garages included and that carports not <br />be acceptable; that they had met on April 22, and reviewed revised prints <br />from-the Van Curens and approved-plans f or a couple of-houses. Mr. Mason <br />said that the Van Curen:plans resubmitted did not include items which were '-again recommended, such as patios, ma.rble window sills, wood paneling in flat <br />bay'areas and foundation under bay windows. Mr. Edelman said that the garage <br />recommendations should be referred to the Planning-'and Zoning Commissionm <br />Mr. Mason,'reporting for the Finance Committee, said that they had <br />reviewed the Pay Ordinance and had two items in addition which they wished <br />to include,- one a payment of half of the bill f or the High Rise suit,and <br />another'payment to the Regional Planning Board, Mr. Mason then read a'letter <br />from the State to Council in reference to this bill. <br />It was then moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Pay Ordinance <br />No. 477-P be approveci and passed as read.- <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />• - Motion carried <br />Pay Ordin-ance Passed <br />Mr. Mason also suggested that- the Leslie property be put.to some Village <br />use so that we could escape payment of taxes on this-property. Mayor Endress <br />then asked the Finance Committee to study the matter and make recommendatiotts <br />to Council. <br />It was then moved by Mrm? Mason, seconded by rSr. Shaw, that the Clerk <br />be authorized to pay $2300.00 of the bill we owe for legal service on the • <br />High Rise suit. <br />Roll Calla Ayes = Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw,'Mason, Sloan &:Belzer. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Mr'. Sloan then gave a short'discourse on the Mayf?eld Union Cemetery. <br />Speaking of the recent audit, Mr. Sloan said that the Auditor recommended a <br />4.
