It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. $ennett, that the laxa requiring <br />a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes = Messrs. Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ` <br />Motion carried. <br />Rules suspended. <br />It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the Resolution be <br />approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Wedle'r, Bennett, Shaw', Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion carried. <br />Resolution passed. <br />Mr. Zorn, our formet Council President, then said that he had 20 Formosa <br />Trees which could be used as a screen for the property and which he would be <br />glad to give to the Village; these'being much better than poplar and are 10 <br />or 12 feet high. <br />The Finance Committee having approved the pay ordinance, it was moved by <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason,'that Pay Ordinance No. 478 be approved and <br />passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs, Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer, <br />Nays -. None. <br />' Motion carried. <br />Pay Ordinance passed. <br />Mr. Weiss reported that the Lander Road Sewer plans had been given to the <br />Highland Heights Engineer, and that these plans had been approved as they <br />existed; that he would have the full package f or us by the next_Council Meeting. <br />-Mr..Weiss aTso spoke of the Side Walks on tiJilson"Mills and said that some have <br />started their own sidewalks and wanted to ask the opinion of Council on these <br />sidewalks; that there are 22 driveways on Wilson Mills that have High Levels <br />which would require fill and tipping of sidewalk and wondered how far he should <br />go to save_these driveways; that he had taken the polfcy that sidewalks should <br />be cement through the driveway. -Mr. Weiss asked; should they meet these drive- <br />ways or keep to their plans; there being a variatice oE from 1 to 4 inches and <br />the only way on two inches would be to take it from a long distance and he <br />recommended that if it'was a plus or minus 1 incli that it should*be met, Mayor <br />Endress said that this disturbed him greatly as a Tot of the driveways had been <br />in existence f or a long time, that the grade has been changed and he wondered <br />if we were going to penalize the people because of this. Mr. Weiss said he <br />did not know how they got their driveway levels as his cross section of the <br />street was the same as that of the County. Mayor Endress said that we should <br />give a little on this. Mre Bennett said that we stiould hold to one inch, that <br />if we have grades and specif ications we should live up to them; that all we do <br />is correct things. ' <br />Mayor Enclress then asked about'Ridgebury; sayittg that he had a letter f rom <br />the school board asking about sidewalks on Ridgebury and said that he did not <br />lcnow if there was anything we could do on Ridgeburye Our Engineer said that <br />3.
