Council then called a Special Meeting for Monday night, July 29, 1963, <br />at the Town Hall at 7:30 P. M. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. <br />Belzer, that a meeting be held on this date and time. <br />Roll Callo Ayes - Messrs Bennett9 Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. . . <br />. Mr. riason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced Resolution No. 572, <br />entitleds "A resolution Adopting a Budget for the Year 1964", which resolution <br />was read to Council. . <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendede <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays -. None m . . <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that Resolution <br />No. 572 be approved and passed as read. , <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzero <br />Nays - None, <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mayor Endress. then read the reports f rom the various departments to <br />Counc il . <br />Mr. Belzer then reported again on the odor permeating Beechhill and <br />said that he was chased indoors the other night by this f oul odor and he did <br />not-see why we had to have something like this in the Village. Mr. Mason said <br />the property owners along the road could probably sue the Countye <br />Mr. Busa from Netro Park Drive again brought up the subject of water <br />erupting into their basements on every rainf all. There was a great deal of <br />discussion between residents of Metro Park Drive and our Ettgineer on various <br />ways and means to learn the cause and find a remedy for thise Council and <br />the Ma.yor also discussed this matter with our Engineer. It appeared that <br />nothing could be done nor.any answers to the problem given until we were in <br />possession oE underground plans for this area.
