Mro Mason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then introduced Resolution No. 574 <br />entitled: "A Resolution Determining to Proceed With the Submission to the <br />Electors of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, at the November 5, 1963, General <br />Election, the Question of Issuing Bonds for the Purpose of Paying the Cost of <br />Constructing and Equipping a New Municipal Building to House the Administrative, <br />Service, Fire and Poliee Departments, and Acquiring a Site Therefol", which <br />resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr.Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three sepasate occasions be?suspendedm <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Bennett,Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - Nonee - <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, that Resolution No. 574 <br />be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Bennett,Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays-- None. Motiori carried <br />• Resolution Passed. <br />Mr. Wedler arrived at this time. Mr. Edelman said that he would secure <br />the inf ormation as to whether Lander Road had ever-been assessed for paving <br />for the next Council Meeting. <br />Mr, Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, then introduced a Resolution that <br />"The Council of the Village of Mayf ield Looks With Favor on the Village"s <br />Part in the Cost of Widening Lander Road From Wilson Mills- Road to Ridgebury, <br />Boulevard to the Extent of Half of 25% if and When Funds are Available", <br />which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. S1oan, seconded by Mrm Bennetz, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Callz Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Snspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the Resolution <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Ca11; Ayes - Niessrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />° Nays - None. - <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Sloan then gave Council a discourse on the need of sidewalks under <br />the,Freeway Bridge and said that we have quite a snm of money to use on state <br />roads and wondered why we could not use this money for sidewalks on Wilson <br />Mills under the Freeway Bridge inasmuch as this was all state property and <br />not under the jurisdiction of the County. Mr. Edelman said that he would <br />write a letter to the Attorney General and get an Opinion on this. <br />2.
