It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded by Nir. Mason, that the nominations <br />be closed, Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />- Nays - Mra; Bennett. Motion carried <br />Mr. Edelman said that the Automobile Club wanted us to pass an ordinance <br />,establishing a speed on the Freeway. A list of changes were also listed in <br />our laws by the Motor Vehicle Bureauo Mr. Edelman then read these changes to <br />Council< Mr. Belzer, seconded by'Mr. Shaw, then introduced ordinance No. 810, <br />entitled: "An OrBinance to Amend Ordinance No. 309; Being an ordinance to <br />Regulate Traffic on the Streets and Public Highways of the Village of Mayfield, <br />by Amending Section No. 13 Pertaining to Traf£ic Control Signals, Section 19 <br />Pertaining to Speed Regulations, Section 107 Pertaining to Duty in Case of <br />Collision, and Section No. 53 Pertaining to Parking Rules, and by Adding Section <br />No. 17.1 Pertaining to Consumption of Beer and Intoxicating Liquor in a Motor <br />Vehicle, and Section 10701 Pertai`ning to D`uty in Case of Damage Not Occurring <br />on Public Roads or Highways", which ordinance was read to Council, <br />It «as moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the rules of law <br />requir.ing an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspendeda <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />. Nays - None. <br />' Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that Ordinance No. 810 <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes.-, Messrs Wedler, Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Edelman then referred to various conversations with regard to garage <br />doors and said that this could be made part of the building ordinance. The first <br />ordinance would be to amend the Regional Dwelling Code. Mr. Edelman then read <br />this ordinance to Council. <br />Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Mason, then introduced Ordinance No. 811, <br />entitledo "An Ordinance to,Amend ordinance No. 465, known as the Regional <br />Dwelling House Code, by Adding Paragraph 1553.04 Requiring Garage'Doors", which <br />ordinance was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. S1oan, that the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />_ Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett,Shaw, Mason,Sloan & Belzer. <br />Nays ?
