Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />September 16, 1963 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meetittg at the <br />Town Hall at 8a00 P. M., M ayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Absent - Mr. Shaw. <br />The Minuted of the Regular Meeting o£ August 19, 1963, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. S'Ioan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the <br />Minutes of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - Nonee <br />Motion carried <br />M inutes Approved <br />Mr. Mason, reporting for the Architectural Boasd, said that they had <br />had one meeting last Thursday, but as he was not there, he did not know what <br />had been done. The Finance Committee having approved the Pay Ordinance, with the <br />exception of Voucher No. 7063 made out to the Mays Construction Company, it <br />was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Wedler,.that Pay Ordinance No. 481-P, <br />be approved and passed as read, <br />' Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried <br />- Pay Ordinance Passed <br />There was nothing to report f rom either the Building or the.Welfare <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Belzer, reporting f or the Safety and Service Committee, said that, <br />after an inspection o£ the new school by the Fire Chief, it was f ound that <br />the Fire Alarms were not installed and a couple of the hydrants were pointed <br />in the wrong direction. Fire Chief Portei then inf ormed Mr. Russel.l that he <br />would have to call the State Fire Marshal if these things were not completed <br />by Saturday. A letter was also sent to the School Board concerning this. <br />Mr. Belzer then remarked that the Fire Hydrants had been turned and that the <br />work of installing the alarnis had been finished Sunday. At this meeting Mr. <br />Wieland was asked to check with the Cleveland Welf are Eor any help he needed <br />to install the black-top sidewalk under the Freeway. Mayor Endress then <br />reported that:.no one had been put on as yet. <br />1.
