f <br />Mr. Belzer went on to report that Highland Heights was desirous o <br />renting transmitting f acilities from us and Mr. Bennett had asked that this <br />be presettted to Council f or approval. The extra cost to us would be $2.75 <br />per month for an extra telephone line and the suggestion of $25.00 or $35.00 <br />per month rental was made. There was some discussion on this matter in Council. <br />Mr. Belzer said that he saw no reason why we could not rent to themm <br />Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Sloan, then introduced Ordinance No. 813 <br />entitled: "An Ordinance Authorizing the Mayor and the Clerk of the Village <br />of Mayf ield to enter into a contract in writing with the Village of Highland <br />Heights f or the use of the Sending Station Radio Equipment of the Fire <br />Department", which ordinanee was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. ; <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ru1es Suspended <br />It was moved by Mre Mason, seconded by Mr. Bennett, that Ordinance <br />No. 813 be approved and passed as reado <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, rlason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - Nonem <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />A1r. Belzer went on to say that Chief Shortle had asked to have Ordinance <br />No. 506 revised or changed. This ordinance pertained to obtaining water f rom <br />Fire Hydrants by contractors for the purpose of filling swimming pools. Mr. <br />Shortle asked that this be changed, so that anyone wishing this service must <br />get a permit from the City of Cleveland and then obtain one from our Service <br />Department. rira Edelman had prepared an ordinance incorporating these <br />changes and proceeded to read this ordinance to Council. There was some <br />discussion about this matter in Council and Mayor Endress asked Mr. Edelman <br />to check with other munitipalities and see what they have on the subject. <br />Mr. Belzer. said that Mr. Shortle had received no answer as yet f rom <br />the Illuminating Campany about the change o£ traffic lights at the inter- <br />section of SOI4i and Wilson Mi11s Road. . <br />Mr. Wedler, reporting f or the Planning and Zoning Cocamission, read <br />their riinutes to Council. Mr. Wedler said that they had met on September <br />lOth, 1963, and Mr. Caplan and Mr. Caputo had pr.esentsd newly-revised platts <br />for apartments eontemplated on a.parcel of land in the extrame south-westerly <br />porti4n of the Village. This was a small portion of Aintree Park Development, <br />which has previously been submitted and discussed. The main issue confronting <br />the Commission was an interpretation of Ordinattce No. 780, Section #8. The <br />parcel in question did not have the required f rontage on SOM Center and the <br />2.
