<br />Minutes of the Regular meeting <br />October 21, 1963 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P: M.,Iiayor Endress presiding. <br />, <br />Roll Call; Present Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - None. - <br />The Niinutes of the Regular Meeting of September 16, 1963, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by NIr. Shaw, that the Minutes <br />of the regular meeting be ap_proved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett, Shaw, Mason, Sloan and Belzer. <br />Nays - None <br />- , Motion carried <br />- Minutes Approved <br />' Mr. Mason, reporting f or the Architectural Board, said that the Board <br />had met on September 12th and approved one tool shed atid looked over the plans <br />of the Van Curen development, but did not approve these f inal plans as the <br />development was under construction. Mr. Mason said that the Architectural Board <br />felt that they had not had a chance to approve the final drawings as submitted., <br />Mayor Endress made the remark that the plans were available. There was <br />considerable discussion,in Council over this matter. Mr. Niason said that the <br />Board approved the first plans, that they were then revised and did not meet <br />with the Village and Regional Plan and they discussed this with the developer; <br />they were-noted on the revised drawings and approved and at the same time they reserved <br />the right to approve the final drawings when submitted and decided not to approve <br />as some of these changes were.not on these drawings. Mayor Endress said that this <br />sounded like a bickering of some sort. Mr. Edelman said that there were no <br />patios shown and we could not make them put them in. Mr. Mason said the stamp <br />said °approved as noted." Mr. Mason said,that the Village should meet with <br />the Architectural Board and discuss this. Mr. Mason said that the Board met <br />again and approved one house, one garage, a two-room addition and considered <br />one residence. <br />Mrs Sloan said that there was nothing to raport,from the Cemetery <br />Committee and mentioned that they had received the Auditor°s report. <br />Mre Bennett said that there was nothing to report f rom the Building <br />Committee. <br />y1r. Belzer, reporting f or the Safety and Service Committee, said that <br />they had met on October 12, 1963; that-NIr. $hortle reported that the traffic <br />lights had been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible, rir.
